Esusu Split Pay helps you pay rent with more flexibility. Instead of paying your full rent all at once, you pay a portion upfront and split the rest into two smaller payments. The program is offered in partnership with Stable Home Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Esusu Split Pay is available to verified renters at participating Esusu properties.

No. Being eligible means you can apply, but final approval is based on Stable Home Fund’s underwriting criteria. Esusu cannot override that decision.

To apply, download the Esusu App and use your unique link to complete an application in Stable Home Fund’s Rent Payment Solutions portal.

Once approved, you make a 60% down payment. Stable Home Fund then covers the rest of your rent and sends the full payment directly to your landlord. You repay the remaining balance in two installments over up to 30 days.

The down payment is part of how Esusu Split Pay stays zero-interest. It helps cover part of your rent upfront while allowing the remaining balance to be offered as a short-term loan without added interest or hidden fees.

No. Esusu Split Pay does not charge interest or hidden fees, and you can pay off your balance early without penalties.

Apply at least 7 business days before your rent due date so there is enough time for processing and posting. Applications typically receive a decision within 1–2 business days, and funds are generally sent to your property within 2–5 business days after approval.

You can only have one application at a time. You also cannot use Esusu Split Pay and Affirm for the same month. To apply again, any existing Split Pay loan must be fully paid off first.
