As part of Esusu’s rent reporting platform, the Esusu app gives residents access to a broader set of financial tools and support resources in one place. Today, the app experience connects residents to credit visibility, rent reporting, financial education, local support resources, curated offers that can help reduce financial strain, and eligible rent payment options through Esusu Pay where available.
Thousands of renters are already using these free tools through the Esusu app. Here is what residents can access when they sign up.
Key Features for Residents
Credit score tracking
Residents can track their credit score in the Esusu app and monitor changes over time. Credit scores are updated monthly, making it easier to see progress and stay informed about overall credit health. Residents can also download a fresh credit report each month from within the app.
Credit history with Esusu
Residents can follow their credit progress after starting rent reporting with Esusu and see how their score changes over time, with up to 24 months of history when available.
Rent reporting
Residents can enroll in rent reporting or check their reporting status directly in the app. They can also see how long rent has been reported and learn more about how the process works.
Esusu Pay
At properties that offer it, Esusu Pay gives eligible residents a more flexible way to manage their rent payments. In the app, residents can see whether Esusu Pay is available at their property and, if so, they can apply for a flexible payment option that works for them. Only available with Plus or Premium membership.
Esusu Passport
Residents can use Esusu Passport to share verified rental history as part of a future rental application. It is designed to make it easier to show a trusted record of on-time rental payments.
Support Across Everyday Financial Needs
The Esusu app helps residents go beyond credit tracking by giving them access to resources that support everyday financial wellness in multiple ways. Through the Esusu Toolkit, renters can explore local support, everyday savings, and financial education all in one place.
That includes benefits such as:
- Local support: Find housing, medical, job, and financial assistance based on ZIP code;
- Everyday savings: Explore programs that may help reduce utility, phone, and internet costs;
- Financial education: Access free resources on credit building, budgeting, and homebuying;
Guided support: Connect with resources such as Findhelp for local services, financial coaching with Operation HOPE, and renter counseling with Fannie Mae.
Curated Offers That Help Residents Save
The Esusu Marketplace adds another layer of value by giving residents access to curated products and offers directly in the app. Instead of sorting through a long list of providers on their own, renters can browse benefits organized around real needs, including credit, auto, health, and retail.
Together, the Toolkit and Marketplace make the Esusu app more than a place to check a score. They help residents find practical support, discover savings opportunities, and access tools that can strengthen financial stability over time.
App Memberships
In addition to the free tools available to residents at Esusu partner properties, Esusu also offers membership plans in the Esusu app that bundle credit-building tools, rent reporting, and other features together. These memberships can be especially helpful for renters whose properties do not yet offer Esusu directly, or who want to add additional app-based tools to their existing Esusu experience.
Increase Resident sSatisfaction
The Esusu app helps residents see the impact of rent reporting more clearly while also giving them access to tools, savings opportunities, payment flexibility through Esusu Pay where available, and support resources that strengthen overall financial well-being.
For properties, that makes the Esusu experience more than a reporting benefit alone. It becomes part of a broader renter support experience that can contribute to stronger resident satisfaction.
